Hi.

I'm a gourmet cook with a huge family (7 kids). Between us we go through a lot of dishes, pots and pans. My wife suggested that we put two dishwashers in the kitchen when we remodel. She wants one made for pots and pans in the work triange. She wants a second one made for normal dishes on the other side of the kitchen beside the kitchen table.

I've seen this done in pictures. It makes a lot of sense for us because we don't have to drag dirty or wet dishes across the kitchen, and the kids can do their chores with setting the table, washing dishes, loading the dishwasher, unloading, etc. without getting in my way when I'm cooking.

I thinking about putting cabinets and drawers for dishes and flatware in the end of the kitchen. I can easily add a clean-up sink and dishwasher. If it makes sense in the remodel.

How big a job is it to run pipes and a drain from the opposite end of the kitchen? How big a deal to put in lines for the dishwasher?

Thanks for your help.
